About

When I was 15 I "borrowed" my dad's Fujica SLR and started photographing my friends skateboarding. After developing those first rolls of black and white film and making prints in the darkroom I fell in love with photography. I took every class my high school offered. After high school I attended the Art Institute of Colorado. In spring of 2004 I was offered a position as a staff photographer at a small newspaper in the mountains. During that time I began photographing weddings for extra money. It didn't take long for me to discover how much I loved wedding photojournalism. In the summer of 2008 I made the decision to quit the paper and start my own business. Since then I have moved back to the city but still enjoy any opportunity to head up to the mountains.
