Natural Images That Age Well
My main goal is to stay present, focused, and ready. To wander and respond. And from that, comes natural-looking photos that age well. I try to not overdo it by giving my clients a lot of direction. Instead, more candid photos will do.
A Calm & Comfortable Presence
The ultimate sign of connection is being quiet yet comfortable with someone. This is what I wish for my clients and I - to know each other well and for it to be easy for us to be around each other without saying much.
A Natural Representation
Instead of having to control the situation at all times because of the limitations film presents, I have more freedom - to observe and document from afar, and to blend in and remain inconspicuous.
A Holistic Approach
I focus on my clients’ wedding day holistically rather than exclusively on them. That's not to say they aren't important; after all, they’re the reason for the celebration! What I mean to say is I also work to capture their friends, family, and the environment.
Timely Communication
I am generally a quiet and relaxed person. My camera is my most natural way of communicating. I remain steady in my timely responses, and believe just because a photographer's role is to take beautiful photos doesn't mean that customer service or respect should fall by the wayside.
Easing Worries & Creating Fun
If you're like me, being in the spotlight is not your favorite thing. And for that, I understand concerns about feeling and appearing uneasy in photos. After photographing over 200 weddings, the natural and real expressions in my images reassure my clients that I do this well.
